O que ando inventado - What I´m making now

Quero que conheçam um pouquinho do meu mundo. Esta sou eu, no meu atelier. Estou aqui criando mais uma bonequinha. Como ela vai ficar? Nem eu sei! Quando crio, é sempre uma surpresa aquilo que surge. É um processo muito bacana que me absorve por completo. Adoro criar!

I want you to know a little bit of my world. This is me, in my studio. Here I am creating another doll. How will she get? Nor do I know! When I create, it's always a surprise what comes up. It's a very cool process that absorbs me completely. I love creating!

Gatos - Cats

Ando muito apaixonada por gatos ultimamente! Há quatro meses, abandonaram um pequeno gato preto na minha rua. Consegui resgatá-lo após 3 dias de busca. Sim, pois o danadinho se encondia durante o dia e só miava de madrugada! Estava muito assustado e claro, faminto! No começo era arredio e se escondia debaixo dos móveis. Com o tempo, foi pegando confiança e hoje está bem adaptado à minha casa e família. Meu marido deu-lhe o nome de Urko. A cada dia sou testemunha do amor e fidelidade dos animais. Nosso gatinho é tão amigo e carinhoso que está sempre ao meu lado. À noite, quando sento pra assistir televisão, ele pula no meu colo, onde adora dormir. Às vezes, posso até entender o que ele mia, rsrsrs!

I've been very passionate about cats lately! Four months ago, a small black cat was left on my street. I managed to rescue him after 3 days of searching. Yes, because the little rascal hid during the day and only meowed at dawn! He was very scared, and of course, hungry when I caught him. At the start, he used to hid under the furniture. With time, he was picking up confidence and today is well suited to my home and family. My husband called him Urko. Every day I witness the love and loyalty of this animal. Our kitten is so loving and friendly that he is always by my side. At night, when I sit to watch TV, he jumps on my lap, where he loves to sleep. Sometimes, I can even understand what he meows, lol!

Novas Criações - New Creations

Tenho trabalhado em várias peças nos últimos dias. Minha amiga Juliana Sampaio, da Festa com Afeto, encomendou-me 8 anjinhos para uma festa de batizado. A Juliana é uma pessoa muito criativa. Suas festas são lindamente decoradas e bem planejadas em cada detalhe. Confiram o seu trabalho!

I have been working in several pieces in recent days. My friend Juliana Sampaio, from Festa com Afeto, commissioned me 8 little angels for a christening party. Juliana is a very creative person. Her parties are beautifully decorated and well planned in every detail. Check out her work!

Ao mesmo tempo, estou terminando 3 pequenos gatos que irão pra minha Loja da Elo7 assim que saírem do forno. Ah, e ainda tem uma bailarina com roupa de flores e folhas que vai ficar linda demais quando estiver pronta!

At the same time, I'm finishing 3 small cats that will be avaiable im my Elo7 shop after they come out of the oven. Oh, and still has a ballerina with an outfit of flowers and leaves that will be amazing when ready!

GATO COM BORBOLETA - CAT WITH BUTTERFLY

IN THE MIDDLE OF MANY DOLLS, I  DECIDED TO MAKE A CURIOUS KITTEN WITH A BUTTERFLY THAT LANDS ON HIS NOSE!

UMA TROCA - AN EXCHANGE

Foi pela internet que eu a conheci. Pesquisando sites de artes e papel maché, descobri o blog da querida Christianne Teixeira. Conversas, trocas de experiências, dicas, acabamos criando uma amizade virtual. Ela lá no Espírito Santo, eu aqui em Curitiba. Nunca nos encontramos pessoalmente, mas um dia, tenho certeza, isso ainda vai acontecer!
Há alguns dias atrás, fiz-lhe uma proposta: Chris, vamos fazer um escambo? Uma bonequinha sua por uma bonequinha minha! Ela, animada que é, topou na hora! O tema? Amizade! 
Toca fazer uma boneca bem bonita pra Chris. Enquanto montava a estrutura em jornal, assisti ao filme "O Escândalo da Princesa". Em inglês o título é "A Breath of Scandal". Filme romântico com a lindíssima Sophia Loren, Maurice Chevalier e John Gavin. De cara me apaixonei pelos figurinos do filme. A princesa Olympia, personagem da Sophia Loren, aparece em deslumbrantes vestidos cena após cena! Chapeuzinhos com plumas e flores, luvas, sombrinhas e rendas, tiaras brilhantes, um guarda roupa à altura de uma verdadeira princesa!
Bem, e então, a boneca da Chris foi se transformando e aos pouquinhos, ganhou um elegante vestidinho verde com rendinhas, uma cartolinha com plumas e véu, luvas e sombrinha. Ah, e ainda a charmosa pintinha no lado esquerdo do rosto, igualzinha a da Princesa Olympia! Pra representar a amizade, ganhou um gatinho nos braços!
Despachei a princesinha pelo correio e fiquei ansiosa no aguardo. Será que ela iria gostar? Enfim, 7 dias depois, um emocionado e caloroso post no Facebook. Olympia chegou direitinho e a dona adorou a nova amiga! Ufa, fico feliz em saber! Mas continuo ansiosa... Estou à espera da minha bonequinha! Será que ela chega logo? Assim que chegar, vocês irão conhecê-la!

It was on the internet that I met her. Searching for websites about arts and paper maché, I discovered the blog of deareast Christianne Teixeira. Conversations, exchanges of experiences, tips, ended up creating a virtual friendship. She lives in the state of Espírito Santo in southeast Brazil and I live in Paraná, south Brazil.  We never met in person, but one day I'm sure it will happen!
A few days ago, I made her an offer: "Chris, let's make an exchange? A doll of yours for a doll of mine!" Chris, zippy as she is, accepted at the time! The theme? Friendship!
 Let´s start a pretty doll for Chris. As I was making the structure with newspaper, I watched the movie "O Escândalo da Princesa." In english, "A Breath of Scandal". A romantic movie with the beautiful Sophia Loren, Maurice Chevalier and John Gavin. I fell in love with the movie´s costumes right away. Princess Olympia, character of Sophia Loren, appears in stunning dresses scene after scene! Little hats with feathers and flowers, gloves, parasols and lace, shiny tiaras. A wardrobe worthy of a true princess!
Well, the doll was coming to life little by little and gained an elegant green dress with ribbons and lace,  a mini top hat with feathers and veil, gloves and umbrella. Oh, and even the charming little dot on the left side of her face, just like Princess Olympia! To represent friendship, she won a kitten in her arms!
I anxiously sent the little princess by mail. Would she like her doll? Anyway, seven days later, Chris posted a warmful message on Facebook: "Olympia arrived intact and I love my new friend!" Glad to know! But I´m still anxious... I'm waiting for my doll! Does she will come soon? Once she arrives, I will let you know!

BUSTO DA FRIDA - FRIDA´S BUST

Recebi o pedido para fazer outra Frida Kahlo. Dessa vez, resolvi fazer um busto pra variar um pouquinho. Impressionante como a figura dessa artista é carismática. Sua estória é trágica e emocionante e sua arte cheia de dor e paixão! 

I received a commission to do another Frida Kahlo doll. This time, I decided to make a bust. I´m so impressed how charismatic is Frida´s figure. Her story is tragic and exciting and her art is full of pain and passion!

AUDREY

Mais uma encomenda pronta! Dessa vez, uma bonequinha muito charmosa da icônica Audrey Hepburn. Sou fã incondicional dessa maravilhosa atriz. Sua beleza e elegância, eternizadas em seus filmes, serão pra sempre lembradas. Resolvi fazer a boneca com o figurino do filme "Bonequinha de Luxo". Esse vestido preto, usado por ela bem no comecinho do filme é um dos muitos que eu adoro. Chique pra sempre!

Another commission ready! This time a very charming doll of the iconic Audrey Hepburn. I am a huge fan of this wonderful actress. Her beauty and elegance, immortalized in her movies, will be forever remembered. I decided to make the doll wearing the black dress of the film "Breakfast at Tiffany's." This outfit worn by her at the very beginning of the movie is one of the many that I love. Chic forever!

VERÔNICA

Gostaria de lhes apresentar minha grande amiga Verônica Fukuda. Ela é a pessoa que me ensinou a arte do papel maché. Verônica além de professora de artes, também é artista e cria lindos bichinhos com essa técnica. Ela tem um blog muito bacana, o Papier Maché, onde mostra o trabalho de outros artistas e também o dela.
Minha grande incentivadora, ela sempre me faz encomendas! Dessa vez, duas de minhas bonecas foram adquiridas por ela e ainda tenho outras três pra fazer a pedido seu. Bem, mãos à obra e muito obrigada, querida Vê!

I´d like to introduce you my good friend Verônica Fukuda. She´s the person who taught me the art of paper mache. Veronica besides an art teacher, is also an artist and creates beautiful pets with this technique. She has a very cool blog, Papier Maché, where she shows the work of other artists as well as hers.
My great motivator, she always asks for commissions! This time, two of my dolls were acquired by her and I still have three more to make by her request. Well, let´s work and thank you, dear Ve!

RAINHA MELODIA - MELODY QUEEN

Depois de dois meses sem criar nada, enfim uma nova bonequinha! Já estava mais do que na hora, né? Sempre faço essas pausas de tempos em tempos. Fico assim, meio sem vontade de criar, meio com preguiça, sei lá! Mas quando a vontade volta, ela vem mais intensa. E aí eu começo a me coçar e tenho que correr pro meu ateliê. E o resultado é sempre bacana!

Dessa vez comecei a trabalhar pensando numa coisa e no final, surgiu outra! Surgiu uma rainha encantada apaixonada por música. Gostei do resultado! Essa é a minha Rainha Melodia!

After two months without creating anything, finally a new doll! I always do these pauses from time to time. I was so halfheartedly to create, lazy, I don´t know! But now the will is back and it came very intense. Thanks God!

This time I started to work thinking about something and in the end, another thing came out! A enchanted queen passionate about music. I liked the result! This is my Melody Queen!
